Section B: summary of evidence
General Points
The biggest mistake students make in this section is to confuse section B the summary of evidence with section D analysis and merge them. This is not a good idea and will probably see you marked down in both sections. Here are some dos and don'ts for Section B. For a last general point it is ESSENTIAL that whichever system of referencing you use is consistently applied in this section. Go back over your section B again and again until it is perfect as this is relatively easy section to score well in but only if you have referenced everthing accurately and consistently.

0 marks = There is no relevant factual material.
1-2 marks = There is some relevant factual material but it has not been referenced.
3-4 marks = There is relevant factual material that shows evidence of research, organisation and referencing.
5-6 marks = The factual material is all relevant to the investigation and it has been well researched, organised and correctly referenced.
